Taekwondo

Taekwondo teaches students self-confidence, self-discipline, focus, concentration, humility, respect, loyalty, patience, perseverance, character development and goal setting.  Taekwondo enhances self-esteem as well as maintains a healthy lifestyle.

Taekwondo is a great after-school program for children, great for adults and families as an Active for Life sport.

Follows the National Coaching Certification Program (N.C.C.P) Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) stages where athletes can train through the performance stream (Taekwondo Competitive Sport) or the recreational stream (Taekwondo martial art).

Students will train both mentally and physically in official Olympic-style techniques as well as Korean and street self-defense.

This program is open to the community for children from ages 7 to 11 years old.
